Hi, I’m Alamelu Kalairajan, founder of Aurascents.
I work in tech by day and make candles and soaps by night, carrying the same attention to detail into everything I create.
Aurascents began within the four walls of my small Bangalore apartment, with a simple intent: to create affordable scented candles in Bangalore that feel personal, not mass-produced. What started as a quiet experiment grew into a practice rooted in consistency, detail, and everyday use.
As the brand evolved, it naturally extended into handmade soaps, built on the same approach of using well-chosen ingredients and practical formulations. The focus has always been on getting the basics right, so each product feels reliable, thoughtful, and easy to return to.
